A Step toward independence: New equipment for young patients in Bila Tserkva

We continue to provide assistance within the project named «Modernization of medical equipment for the rehabilitation of healthcare facilities».
This time we focused on the Municipal Institution of the Kyiv Oblast Council «Specialized Regional Orphanage» located in Bila Tserkva.
Within the project the following equipment was provided:
- Multifunctional rehabilitation complex;
- Rehabilitation table for therapy with electric height adjustment;
- Manual table for rehabilitation with resistance;
- Tilt table with height adjustment horizontally and an angle of inclination with electric drive;
- Ceiling hoist including lifting hanger, suspension and charging systems.
This modern rehabilitation equipment opens up new opportunities to improve the quality of life for children with special needs, who suffer from musculoskeletal disorders, diseases of central and peripheral nervous system.
The ceremony of equipment donation was attended by ASB Ukraine representatives in cooperation with the Kyiv Oblast Council Deputy Head Київська обласна рада, Tetiana Semenova Тетяна Семенова.
ASB Ukraine was presented by the following members:
- Fatima Azizova – The Head of the ASB Ukraine mission.
- Serhii Burlachenko – Head of Program/Area Coordinator.
- Mariia Kravchenko – Health Officer.
- Nadiia Yevseienko –Finance and Administration Manager.
- Illia Sorokopudov – MEAL Officer.
We are confident that the assistance provided will enhance the quality of rehabilitation activities.
This assistance was provided due to our collective hard work, as well as the memorandum of cooperation that was signed with the Kyiv Oblast Council in June 2025. We would like also to express our special gratitude to Deputy Head Tetiana Semenova.
