Psychosocial support sessions are an important tool for humanitarian workers. They help maintain psychological resilience, share experiences, and find resources for working in conditions of constant challenges. Such meetings create a space for mutual support and the development of professional skills.
This time our team carried out practical exercises “Traffic Light” and “One feeling I want to experience this year,” discussed adaptability to circumstances, strengthening the sense of competence and positive connections, as well as self-care practices. The session was a reminder that caring for one’s own psychological well-being is an integral part of effective humanitarian work, and the shared exercises helped find new ways to support oneself and colleagues.
