Cooperation with the authorities in Poltava

Within our current projects framework, we are moving to cooperate with the authorities concerning our organization activities in Ukraine closer. Recently, ASB Ukraine representatives, consisting of the Country Director Fatima Azizova as well as the Head of Program Serhii Burlachenko and also the Project Manager Roman Shevchuk, held a productive working meeting with the Head of the Poltava regional administration Volodymyr Kohut Володимир Когут. As a result, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.
Our main focus is on the development of medical, social and educational infrastructure, as well as the trainings organization, the resilience increasing and capacity-building for specialists in these areas.
It also provides financial assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs). Moreover, it is expected training programs for business development/start-up, including grant support for opening or expanding businesses for vulnerable groups, which is a key aspect of their resilient and sustainable community development.
