From knowledge to real changes: launch of the Inclusion Pro program for psychological support for children with SEN

On January 27, the official launch of the training program “Inclusion Pro: Innovative Practices of Psychological Support for Children with Special Educational Needs” took place in Bila Tserkva. Participants included teachers from preschool and secondary education institutions, specialists from psychological services, and inclusive-resource centers. The event was held with the support of the Municipal Educational Establishment of the Kyiv Regional Council “Kyiv Regional In-service Teacher Training Institute”.

The program is developed in accordance with current regulations and professional standards, taking into account European vector of educational development, principles of inclusion and barrier-free environment. Participants have already started mastering modern crisis intervention methods, art therapy practices and neuroplasticity exercises, innovative techniques of inclusive communication, as well as the latest correctional and developmental technologies.

The training will last until February 20. The program consists of four modules: three of which are conducted offline, and one is held online, which provides flexibility and accessibility for participants.

The program aims to improve the professional competence of specialists, develop interdisciplinary interaction skills, form sustainable inclusive practices, and create a psychologically safe educational environment. The expected outcome is strengthening teachers' and psychologists' readiness to work with children with special educational needs, as well as with their families.

The program has already brought together a professional community that implements innovative psychological support practices and shapes an inclusive future.
