13/08/2025
The main ASB Ukraine mission is to help people. It’s always a pleasure to see the results of our work. Recently, Kryvyi Rih Hospital No. 16 received vital medical equipment donated by ASB.

The official donation ceremony was attended by representatives of ASB Ukraine together with members of the Dnipro Oblast Council Дніпропетровська обласна рада.

From ASB Ukraine, the following team members were present:

Fatima Azizova – The Head of the ASB Ukraine mission
Serhii Burlachenko – Head of Program/Area Coordinator
Nataliia Kuts – Project Manager
Mariia Kravchenko – Health Officer

This hospital holds a unique role in the region. It’s the only facility in Kryvyi Rih and the surrounding area with a pediatric trauma unit. Every day the children’s lives including those injured by russian attacks are save here.

The hospital received two operating tables equipped with lighting and video recording systems and specialized cardiac sensors for the ultrasound machine. Thanks to this equipment, doctors can examine even the tiniest patients, children under five, including those suffering from blast-related injuries.

Coming soon: critically required two advanced electrosurgical units and modular patient monitors with sedation and anesthesia depth control. Delivery is expected within the month.

Also we would like to highlight the effective collaboration of the local authorities and their strong commitment to the people needs and sustainable results. Our special thanks to Mykola Lukashuk Микола Лукашук, Head of the Dnipro Oblast Council and Anatolii Kolomoiets, Head of the Department for Health Care, Social Policy and Development of the Educational Sector. This support is the result of dedicated work and the memorandum of cooperation we signed in June 2025.

«International partnership is not about formalities — it’s about real help for communities, - said Mykola Lukashuk. I’m grateful to the ASB Ukraine team for their trust, and to the oblast council team for their systematic efforts that deliver results».

«We hope that this equipment will help to improve the care and services provided to people, and strengthen the hospital’s capacity to respond to their needs effectively.
We are thankful for your partnership that has been essential in making this possible, and we look forward to continued collaboration in the future», - emphasized the Head of the ASB Ukraine mission Fatima Azizova.
