Residents of Kharkiv and Donetsk oblasts received 23 000 food and 12 400 hygiene kits in 2025
As part of the project „Emergency assistance to severely conflict-affected people in frontline areas of Kharkiv and Donetsk oblasts and IDPs residing in Central regions (Khmelnytskyi oblast) of Ukraine”, residents of Kharkiv and Donetsk oblasts received 23 000 food and 12 400 hygiene kits in 2025.
In particular:
In Donetsk oblast, assistance was provided to residents of hromadas located 20-30 km from the front line, including: Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, Lyman, and Dobropilliia hromadas. A total of 11 570 food kits and 6 200 hygiene kits were distributed.
In Kharkiv oblast, assistance was provided to hromadas located 10-30 km from the combat zone, including: Derhachi, Kharkiv, Vovchansk, Sakhnovshchyna, Lypetsk, Bohodukhiv, Malodanylivka, Dvorichna, Tsyrkunivska, Solonytsivka, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, Shevchenkove, Borivka, and Pechenihy hromadas. A total of 11 430 food kits and 6 200 hygiene kits were provided.
Thanks to this assistance, thousands of families in frontline areas received basic food and hygiene items, which helped them to get through the harsh winter months and reduced health risks.
This support is critically important for people living in areas of constant danger and instability. Food and hygiene kits do not only meet basic needs, but also provide a sense of care and protection. This helps preserve dignity and strength to continue living in wartime conditions.
