Rebuilding for the Future: Empowering Entrepreneurs in Dnipro

19/01/2026
On January 16, four training modules of the educational and grant program “Rebuild: Rebuilding for the Future” aimed at supporting the creation, restoration, and development of entrepreneurship in the Dnipro oblast were completed.

The program combines practical knowledge of business modeling, financial management, digital tools, and innovation, while also helping to shape a new generation of entrepreneurs capable of working and rebuilding the region's economy in the context of the long-term consequences of war. This approach strengthens the economic resilience of communities and creates a foundation for sustainable development.

For three months, participants from the Dnipro oblast received intensive training in online and offline formats. The program included training modules tailored to the needs of both start-up entrepreneurs and experienced businesses, focusing on business modeling, financial management and legal aspects, digital tools and online marketing, innovation, and leadership.

Some of the sessions had to be held in shelters, showcasing the resilience and adaptability of the participants, trainers, and the Diia Business team in Kryvyi Rih, who ensured the continuity of the training process even in challenging security conditions.

Currently, participants are getting ready for Pitch Day, where they will present their business ideas with the support of mentors. Based on the selection results, the 20 best projects will receive financial grants ranging from €5,000 to €13,000 for implementation.

ASB Ukraine would like to thank its implementing partner Дія.Бізнес І Кривий Ріг for its effective cooperation, flexibility, and resilience, as well as the donor Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) for its financial support for the “Rebuilding Roots” project.
