ASB Ukraine announces the launch of a new 3.5-year transitional-development project, implementation supported by the donor Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) - Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
Project name: Rebuilding Roots – social and physical rehabilitation of communities to foster resilience.
The project will be implemented directly by ASB and its local partner SSU in territorial hromadas of four regions: Kyiv, Poltava, Dnipro and Lviv.
This project will be aimed at the three main thematic directions:
- Basic infrastructure reconstruction.
- Improvement of the quality of health care facilities. - Improvement of the social and economic participation of community members through income generation activities, capacity building, strengthened institutions and an active civil society
The main objective is to strengthen the capacity and well-being of communities through the inclusive reconstruction of physical and social infrastructure.
It is planned to cover more than 30,000 people living in the foregoing territories.
Today an official meeting of the ASB Ukraine took place with the Deputy head of Kyiv oblast administration Tetiana Semenova. During the meeting, the priorities and areas of implementation of the above-mentioned project in the Kyiv region and ways of its implementation were discussed.
