Making dreams come true

Yurii Mykhailovych lived in Lysychansk, Luhansk Oblast, but due to the beginning of full-scale invasion in 2022, he was forced to leave his hometown and evacuate to Dnipro.
«It was impossible to live there. Electricity, water, and communications were cut off. Heavy shelling began. There were only 5 people left in my house. Due to the constant stress caused by shelling and explosions, I started to have a nervous tic. I realized that I couldn't stand it. I called the police and said that I would like to evacuate to Dnipro. The next day a bus came to pick me up and took me away» - said the man.
Due to the small retirement benefits, he does not have enough money to live on.
«I wanted to buy a touch screen phone for a long time, but I couldn`t afford such an expensive purchase, but thanks to your help, I bought it for myself» – said Yurii.
The man is grateful for necessary multi-purpose cash assistance, provided by ASB Ukraine with the financial support from the German Foreign Ministry (GFM) Auswärtiges Amt.
